poetic Wedding Photography with an Editorial Touch

braut in Italien bei hochzeitsshooting

I’m drawn to what happens between the posed moments like the afternoon light cutting through the shutters of a stone villa. Working in unfamiliar places has taught me to slow down and to observe. To see you and the people who matter most to you. Documentary at heart.

I love to travel across Europe for weddings, most at home in places that feel like they belong to another era like the hills of Tuscany and the coastlines of Greece.

I shoot digital, on film and Super 8. Every story is different. The approach is always the same: create something made to last.

„Michaela captured our wedding day perfectly — authentic, emotional, and beautiful. We felt completely at ease with her throughout the day. A clear 12/10 — an absolute recommendation!“

FAQ

We feel a bit awkward in front of the camera. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Most of my couples feel this way. You don’t need to know how to pose or act. I create an atmosphere where you can simply be yourselves, and everything else follows naturally.

How far in advance should we book you?

Most couples secure their date 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak season weekends. As I only take on a limited number of weddings per year, I recommend reaching out as soon as your date and venue are confirmed.

What is included in a wedding reportage?

Every wedding reportage includes my full presence on the day, careful curation and editing of the images, and a private online gallery to share and download your photographs. Alongside digital photography, I also work with analog film and Super 8. These formats add depth, texture and a timeless quality. Film and Super 8 can be added to your coverage if you wish..

Do you photography multi-day celebrations?

Absolutely. Pre-wedding events, welcome dinners, and day-after gatherings are a beautiful way to tell a fuller story and can be included in your coverage.

When will we receive our photos?

You can expect your full gallery within 8 weeks. A small preview is shared earlier. Your analog images and super 8 film will take a little longer to be ready.

How do you work?

My work blends emotional documentary moments with an editorial eye. I focus on real connection, natural movement and refined aesthetics.
