weddingphotography
Quiet elegance instead of rigid tradition, substance instead of spectacle. I photograph weddings in Zurich and Lucerne for couples who know that true style never needs to be loud. Digital, analog and on Super 8.

Michaela
Being on the move is part of my DNA. Commuting between Germany and Switzerland, I'm happy about every day I can call "out of office" – and on which I get to be part of joyful celebrations as a wedding photographer, ideally in historic venues like St. Charles Hall or Villa Honegg.
I love evenings by the water, the high after a workout, and the delight of whoever finds the coin I've left in my shopping cart for them.
FAQ
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
The most popular wedding dates, especially between May and September, are often booked 12 to 18 months in advance. If you've already set your wedding date and venue in Lucerne or Zurich, it's worth reaching out early. Last-minute bookings are of course possible too, as long as your date is still available.
How much does wedding photography cost?
My packages for Saturdays in peak season start at CHF 3,800. Shorter coverage is available during the winter months and on weekdays.
Do we need any experience in front of the camera?
Not at all. Most couples are standing in front of a professional camera together for the very first time. That's exactly why I guide you in a way that never feels posed. You don't need to know any poses – you can simply be yourselves. The most beautiful photos happen in the moments in between anyway.
What's included in wedding photography coverage?
Every wedding coverage includes my photographic coverage of your wedding day, the careful selection and editing of your images, and a private online gallery where you can view, share and download your photos.
In addition to classic digital photography, I also work with analog film and Super 8, which can be added on request.
Do you only photograph weddings in Lucerne?
My focus is on weddings in Lucerne, Zurich and Central Switzerland. Historic, grand venues with a story have truly won my heart, such as St. Charles Hall in Meggen, Villa Honegg or the Vitznauerhof. I'm also happy to travel for your wedding – throughout Switzerland, Italy and beyond.
How does the booking process work?
After your inquiry, we'll schedule a free, no-obligation get-to-know-you call via Zoom. We'll talk about your wishes and the flow of your wedding day, and you can ask any questions you have. Based on what we discuss, I'll then put together a first non-binding proposal for you.
Once you decide to book me, your date is reserved as soon as the deposit has been paid. From then on, I'm by your side with tips and experience all the way up to your wedding day.
How many photos will we receive after the wedding?
The number depends on the length of your coverage and on the number of guests, typically around 400–700 images for a full wedding day. You'll receive all successful shots, professionally edited, in an online gallery. It's important to me that you don't just get a few highlights, but can relive the whole story of your day.
Do you photograph multi-day events?
Yes! I love getting to know you and your guests the evening before, so I can capture your wedding weekend from beginning to end.
